EP ALUMNI COMMENTS

The EP program now has over 500 alumni, and we survey them
on a regular basis to get their perspective on issues and to ask
how we can improve our alumni program. The following comments
are from our 2009 anonymous annual survey of EP alumni. We asked
them to “please add any final thoughts or comments about the
Philadelphia Enhanced Placement Series and/or Alumni Program:”

“The information I learned in the EP conferences were very helpful
to me when I took my licensure exam yesterday. If not for this program
I would not have learned some things because they were not covered
in my MSW classes. Thanks!!”

“I enjoyed the program and I learned a lot a about the mental health
field. I would encourage other students to be a part of the program.
When I am talking with other people in the field I often refer to the
info I learned.”

“It was a great experience: professional lectures, nice atmosphere,
excellently organized, flexible time. Looking forward to attend next
year again. Thank you!!!!!!!”

“Wonderful learning opportunity I am grateful to have participated in.
Would and have highly recommended it to other students.”

“Attending the Philadelphia Enhanced Placement trainings was an
incredibly rich learning experience for me which is directly applicable
to both my educational and vocational work. Thank you for bringing
in excellent presenters on very applicable topics.”

“I would recommend the EP prog to every BSW & MSW student.
It was a great way to actually understand & address issues that
came up at Field Placements, especially as we were just thrust
into field placements with the responsibilities of diagnosing people.”

“Thank you for all of the vital work you do with the Philadelphia
Connections program. It has provided me with valuable insight
and strategies since I have been involved with the program.
I'm SO glad that I was afforded the opportunity to be a part of it.”
