For Providers

Bridging the gap between students and providers

Philadelphia Connections is an organization funded by the City of Philadelphia that works to increase the quality of behavioral health care for public behavioral health system service recipients and their families and other support people.

Connections promotes collaborative projects among Pennsylvania colleges and universities, Philadelphia area behavioral health care providers, and offices/programs of theĀ Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health/Intellectual DisAbility ServicesĀ (DBHIDS). Connections includes representatives of family advocacy groups, service recipients, DBHIDS administrators, public system provider programs and agencies, schools and universities, and students.

If you are a provider looking for an intern who is interested in behavioral healthcare, please contact us for more information on how to connect with local universities, or see the list of our university partners to learn about programs that may be able to assist you.
